MEET YOUR POWDER INC.TEAM
When I hire and train artists for our team, the things I seek after FIRST are integrity, loyalty, kindness and character. Of course, then, I also make sure that they have artistic talent because I know that those who have that, make the best artists, BUT I do not want anyone on our team who doesn’t first have the most essential and valued qualities I listed above. I only want women who genuinely love others representing Powder Inc. When I started my business in 2006 as a singular artist, my whole heart was dedicated (and still is) to making women feel beautiful. INSIDE and OUT. We have a unique opportunity when up close with other women to seek to see the beauty in them and bring it out. As humans I believe that the greatest gift we have is the ability to love and show love whenever the opportunity is given. I have always genuinely cared about my clients and their happiness. That their experience with me and with Powder Inc is one they will always remember as great. That they felt seen and cared for. That they leave feeling their most beautiful.
For over 17yrs, my life and business motto has been “PEOPLE over PROFIT”. What does profit mean if you didn’t treat those who helped you make it feel loved and important? I am excited for you to get to know and work with these very special women. Each of which has shown me that they have the same core values I do: Love, Kindness, character, loyalty, integrity.

HI Guys!! I’m Nicole, owner of Powder Inc. I’m so glad you’re here to get to know me and our team and hopefully hire us for your big day!! (or event… we love it all!).
A little about me. I’m Canadian:) yup! born and raised. Moved to Oregon in 2006 for my husband to go to school and never left. I have been working with Brides since 2006. I have worked on well over 1,000 weddings and over 6,000 faces to date. I have felt incredible fortunate every single day that I have been able to make a career out of my passion. Even after 17yrs I still look forward to every time someone sits in my chair. I STILL get excited. That is such a blessing. I love people and I love to make them feel beautiful. inside and out. my philosophy is that makeup should be Fun and bring out the best features. You should look like the most elevated version of YOU! I also believe that makeup needs to be clean and precise and thats the style I strive for. NO MESSY makeup!;)
I love to travel and will come to anywhere you want to fly me to work with you. I have 2 teenage girls aged 15 and 18 and they are truly the loves of my LIFE. I celebrated 20yrs of marriage in Feb 2023 and have big career plans once I’m an empty nester in 3.5yrs:(:(

LINDSEY
Lindsey’s been doing hair professionally for 14 years and makeup for 7. She started with Powder more than 10 years ago. She has known she wanted to do hair ever since she was a little girl. She says “My mom can attest to this with how many Barbies I ruined...sorry ma!”
Lindsey says: I LOVE to laugh!! Mostly at my own jokes and I guarantee we will have fun during my time with you! I’m a dog mom to two very homely but adorable (in their own way) Boxers, Bane and Adele, and adorable Corgi named Hank and one Kitty who thinks she’s the boss named Gypsy. I’m also a very proud Auntie to a niece and nephew. I married the Love of my life in May 2022 and so much fun planning my own wedding! In my spare time I love doing activities outside, traveling, country concerts and cooking!
MAGGIE
Maggie has been a part of the Powder, Inc team, as the “hair girl” since 2013. She’s been doing hair in a salon setting since 2002. She started her career with an apprenticeship/assisting program at a large salon in Portland.
Maggie says: I married my husband in 2006, and moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia, while he was serving in the navy. We moved back to Oregon in 2009, where I continued working in a salon, this time in Troutdale, Oregon. We started a family shortly after and now we are the proud parents of two boys who are 9 and 12years old.

DINA
Dina’s been doing makeup for 15 years and hair for 8. She says “I love the power makeup has to transform a person’s personal outlook. Everyone has beauty, but people sometimes don’t see it. Giving people the confidence to change their outlook on themselves is a powerful thing and I love being a part of that.”
Dina says: Outside of work I am passionate about everything fitness and health related, especially holistic health and self care. I was married in 2015 where I hired Powder for my own wedding. I later joined their team in 2016 and love working with the other artists! I am about to have my first son and can’t wait to be a mom!!!
